Just in case you weren’t entirely convinced that Gisele Bündchen is the most down-to-earth supermodel around, Chanel released a new video where she waxes poetic about her love for yoga, nature and meditation. The face of Chanel N°5 opens the doors of her East Coast home to the French brand and tours her backyard as she talks about what nature means to her—from the smell of the earth after a heavy rain to reminiscing about her grandparent’s farm in the south of Brazil. “As long as I’m in nature I feel like I’m in my element,” she says in the video. “I love the smell of nature…It smells familiar, it kind of brings a peace.”
As ethereal as the clip looks and feels, we also get a beautiful glimpse of the supermodel’s home life: she hums a little tune while she strums on her guitar and offers up insights on her meditative habits. In front of her fireplace, striking a yoga pose on a giant pillow, she notes that waking up before her kids allows her to take time to focus on her inner well-being. Maybe that’s the key to all her success? Either way, the video is a fun little look at the face behind the fragrance, and a much chicer take on the more traditional campaigns.
