If there’s one thing we love about a personal gym it’s the ability to sweat, grunt and curse to our hearts content all in the privacy of our own home. But if your home gym is no longer feeling like your own little ass-kicking oasis due to dated (or non-existent) equipment, it might be time to treat yourself to something new. Life Fitness just released the Flexstrider, a premium at-home elliptical-type machine that allows users to walk, run, jog or stride their way to a better body. The new machine offers pre-programmed workouts, resistance control selections, internet connectivity and a tablet console to make a total body workout out (almost) seem fun. Equipped with interactive Lifescape courses that simulate treks though famous locations and trails, the machine will automatically adjust for speed, incline and resistance and track your progress as you make your way toward your fitness goals. If you’re not one for simulated mountain hikes, you could always connect the tablet to your smart phone, social media or TV if you’d rather just watch the latest Avengers. Totally up to you.
