In partnership with LA-based vintage boutique Decades and its founder Cameron Silver, Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection has opened ‘Cameron’s Corner,’ a chic, sustainable pop-up featuring Silver’s personally curated selection of eco-resort fashions from a mix of luxury designer and emerging brands.
For the month of May, Cameron’s Corner allows Mauna Lani guests the chance to peruse and purchase items from Silver’s uniquely curated collection of sustainable eco resort chic featuring green brands from around the world including By Walid of London, MARRAKSHI Life from Marrakech, Vada Eyewear from Austin, RHONE from Stanford CT, Agnes Badoo bags from Los Angeles, as well as timeless classics from Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Pucci, Hermès and more.
“I am bringing sustainable resort chic fashions to one of the most beautiful places in the world,” said Silver. “Guests will bring home mementos like vintage Aloha shirts adorned with 70s YSL jewelry worn over sexy Tabacaru swimsuits while carrying a Carolina Santo Domingo tote for the ultimate in effortless conscious chic.”
A trailblazer and long-time collector of sustainable, vintage, and designer consignment for more than 20 years, Cameron Silver opened Decades Inc. in Los Angeles in 1997. The store has been and continues to be a world leader in the sale of pre-loved vintage, neo-vintage, and contemporary designer clothing. Decades has set an industry standard in giving new life to luxury garments and accessories. Located on Melrose Avenue, Decades works with top stylists and celebrities as well as Hollywood studios and major fashion publications around the world, while simultaneously making their prestigious collection accessible to the everyday fashionista.
Located on the dramatic Kohala coast on the Island of Hawai’i, Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection’s lush, palm-bedecked environment provides the perfect backdrop for Silver’s pop-up. Situated on sacred land marked by royal fish ponds, natural lava plains, lush tropical gardens and alluring beaches, Mauna Lani - meaning “mountain reaching heaven” - is an inspiring spiritual haven that captures a distinct sense of place deeply rooted in rich cultural traditions. Defining a new era of experiential luxury, the resort boasts contemporary guest rooms and suites, five private bungalow residences, five extraordinary restaurants and lounges including the celebrated CanoeHouse helmed by Executive Chef Matt Raso of Nobu fame, three distinct pools, on-site spa, and shops including goop’s only store in Hawai’i.
