The annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala is a highlight during the Cannes Film Festival, and last’s night event proved to be an amazing evening of glamour and giving. The stars of the cinema and the catwalk came together for charity, raising more than $25 million in support of the foundation and its pursuit to cure HIV/AIDS. The night featured performances by Katy Perry, Sister Sledge, The Village People, The Bluebell Girls and a runway show curated by fashion veteran and longtime amfAR supporter Carine Roitfeld. And when Roitfeld is hosting a show, the fashion set turns out in droves. Adriana Lima, Karlie Kloss, Liu Wen, Lily Donaldson, Bella Hadid, Chanel Iman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Jourdan Dunn and number of other supermodels hit the red carpet. Which was great news for Leonardo DiCaprio who was in attendance to support the charity. Later in the evening he auctioned off a one-week vacation at his home in Palm Springs, but added he wouldn’t be home that week to celebrate with the lucky winner.
