In support of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Vivo Masks is donating 100 percent of the proceeds from their Magnificent Sole Luxe mask, to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. The mask, named the most expensive in the world, is a $249,000 masterpiece, handmade by Italian craftsmen using 16th century custom-fit and molding techniques. This one-of-a-kind piece features a platinum and 18-karat gold sunburst headpiece, and a 24-karat gold crown. Adorned with five, one-carat, conflict-free, Canadian diamonds and two, four-carat, round-cut diamonds, the mask is also covered with a number of crystals and beads for added glimmer and shine. Mulberry silk and Vicuna wool from the Andes are used to give the interior a soft, comfortable lining. The mask also comes hand-painted and signed by three world-renowned Venetian artists who designed the piece. Whether purchased for a wedding, masquerade or just for home décor, it absolutely beats the usual pink-ribbon knickknacks.
