National Lobster Day was June 15 and the White Barn Inn of Kennebunkport, Maine is partnering with Rolls Royce to introduce a Lobster Rolls package. Available through June 19, you can join Executive Chef Derek Bissonnette in the White Barn Inn kitchen to create a Lobster Roll, White Barn Inn style.
Next up, Chef will accompany his guests to a scenic picnic lunch, where you will be given the choice to be chauffeured or drive Rolls Royce’s exclusive vehicle, “Dawn,” along the gorgeous roads of Kennebunkport (be sure to check out President George H.W. Bush’s compound on nearby Walker’s Point). The experience culminates with a stop in town at a local seafood facility for a behind-the-scenes tour on all things lobster.
The three-hour Lobster Roll tour is the upgraded take on White Barn Inn’s “Crustacean Crawl,” a year-round experience in which guests bike through Kennebunkport with Chef Bissonnette.
Rates start at $615 for a midweek stay based on double occupancy in a traditional room, inclusive of breakfast; exclusive of tax and gratuity.
