Oblique offers simultaneous services with multiple therapists to save their clients’ time, and is also able to offer privacy in the luxurious private room. The tools employed are all subjected to stringent medical sterilisation protocols – health and safety is naturally a top priority. There is also Oblique House of Hair that does absolutely amazing cuts, colour and blow dries.
The journey begins when you step inside the beautiful premises on Bute Street, South Kensington. The chic grey, emerald, and gold accented décor and cosy atmosphere immediately engender a sense of comfort and relaxation. I experienced a truly exceptional manicure and pedicure with two of Oblique’s highly trained therapists, Kristina and Karina. With Karina working on my toes, and Kristina on my hands, the efficiency of both procedures was breathtaking: I was ready to go in under one hour, with an immaculate manicure on my hands and perfect pedicure on my feet. I have had numerous manicures in my life, but never had my nail polish applied with such precision as it was at Oblique House of Nails. Even the base coat was applied with a very fine paintbrush, rather than a regular polish brush. The pedicure involves dead skin removal, a very satisfying foot scrub, and a luxurious, wish-it-went-on-forever foot and lower leg massage. Afterwards, my feet felt several pounds lighter, and, with a pop of red on my toes, ready for the October half-term getaway!
