Agostino Lombardi knows how important a great hairstyle can transform not only a woman’s appearance, but also her mood. The master stylist, colorist and owner of the Beacon Hill salon moved to this location last summer from the Fenway/Kenmore neighborhood. The Italian native has enjoyed the challenge of moving, renovating the location to fit his salon’s needs and gaining new clients along the way.
I visited the Beacon Hill salon recently for a cut, color and blow dry. When I arrived here, I was quickly greeted, offered a drink and shown to my seat and awaited meeting Agostino. The super friendly salon owner discussed my existing curly hairstyle, listened to the style and color I envisioned and made suggestions to complement my hair texture, color and face shape.
Within a few minutes, he disappeared to mix up the perfect color, which he carefully (yet quickly) painted on each strand. Once the color had set for some time, it was time to get the color rinsed out. When I returned to Agostino, he shaped my hair into the perfect style. The beautiful shade of brown he chose for my hair looked so natural.
Master stylist Rami earned that title for good reason. He worked his stylish magic to straighten each strand leaving my hair without any frizz. If you haven’t visited this salon, after just one visit you will soon become a regular customer.
Agostino Salon is located at 70 Charles Street in Boston. For more information, visit www.agostinosalon.com or call them at (617) 262-2009.
