Vive Latino Music Fest to Have a Killer Lineup

Posted: Dec. 10th, 2012  |  By Michael Pearse
Vive Latino

Although many of the bands performing in the 2013 Vive Latino music festival, taking place in Mexico City in March, are recognizable to us because they're artists that we listen to here in the United States (yeah yeah yeahs, Blur, Japandroids), there are going to be some supreme Mexican acts like Los Fabulosos Cadillacs and Panteon Rococo that will blow the socks off of anyone ready for a Latin take on rock 'n' roll, a subgenre often referred to as "Rock en Espanol."

Move over Coachella, Mexico’s Vive Latino has just released an intriguing lineup for their 2013 edition that includes quite the eclectic set of headliners (Morrissey, Blur, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) alongside a stellar set of undercards (including Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Japandroids, LMB favorites Tame Impala & Bomba Estereo, Silversun Pickups, Ulises Hadjis, Nortec Collective Presents: Bostich and Fussible) and a ton of local acts. Check out the full lineup here.

The festival takes place March 14th – 17th, 2013 at Foro Sol in Mexico City, Mexico.
