This Valentine's Day a little oo la la isn't going to be achieved by a bushel of roses and a heart shaped box of banal chocolates. To ignite the love firecrackers this year, I turned to Booty Boudoir, created by noted photographer, Helene Cornell.
To make photo shoots as comfortable and intimate as possible, sessions can be arranged anywhere; from a private home to Helene's cottage home studio, a perfect setting for seductive pin-up style shots. During my session, Helene lead me through several "settings" in her cottage home studio, from a black and white checkered floor scene, to a sheet wrapped sprawl on a pink bed.
Helene's gentle guidance positioned me for great bootylicious shots. Who knew so much effort was taken to make sure all my lady parts were sucked in, pushed out, poofed up, and tucked in?! The vibe of my session was light and girly, like strawberries bobbing in sparkling lemonade and in the company of a superb group of professional female artists. The anxiety I felt of being nearly naked for several hours slipped away.
Of course, I had anxiety about the final result-the images I would be binding up in a book for my man to have in hand. Again, Booty Boudoir knows how to handle this: I was able to view all my session's shots privately and selected my top 25. I thought most were beautiful; the sucking and tucking surely pays off!
Then, Helene and her team further wowed me with touch-ups of all my chosen photos, making any ridge, wrinkle or otherwise non-preferred imperfection vanish from the eye. The final result? Let's just say I'm now prepared to have a Fourth of July level of fireworks this Valentine's once I hand over my new little black book.
Bonus Booty item: Booty Boudoir announced the launch of "Booty Shorts," short sexy films that capture movement of vamped up ladies rather than just still shots.
Now that I've got the photos down, I'll be prepping for my suggestive, yet classy, camera debut. Learn more at www.bootyboudoir.com.
