A new, two-story Burberry store opened up in the heart of the Miami Design District last week. Built under the creative design of Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer Christopher Bailey, the store was made with a slew of new features and updated technology including direct access to the British brand’s headquarters in London through video screens and interactive capabilities.
A video wall will be dedicated to broadcasting live events, shows and runway presentations from around the world through the Burberry Retail Theatre concept. Store associates will carry iPads that can access global stock, so customers can find the item they want and pick it up as early as the following day. Guests will also have the option of enhanced personalization, so that Burberry associates and personal shoppers can access purchase history, measurements and style preferences to streamline their shopping experience.
While not a flagship location, the 39th street store will carry every Burberry line including Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, Burberry Brit and Burberry Beauty. Womenswear, menswear, accessories, eyewear, beauty, including fragrance and makeup, and watches will also be available. This location is the eighth in the Florida area, and dedicated Burberry shoppers may even notice the British architecture of the new store, modeled after their global flagship location in London.
