Las Vegas is a place to let loose, party with friends and enjoy world-class gambling and casinos. But the vibrant city is also a mecca for fine dining with well-known celebrity chefs and renowned culinary masters calling it home to their exclusive restaurants. Celebrating this foodie paradise, The Venetian Las Vegas will host Ultimo - A Weekend of Excellence culinary event from Dec. 5-7 and is presented in conjunction with Robb Report magazine and Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada.
Turning its iconic Grand Colonnade into the Grand Banquet, the property will feature lavish feasts and extraordinary experiences through collaborations between several of the world’s best culinary celebrities such as Emeril Lagasse, Chefs Daniel Boulud and Buddy “Cake Boss” Valastro. First showcased in 2013, the Grand Banquet holds a single table that seats nearly 200 people amid authentic frescoes hand painted by Italian artists and 25-foot columns of Botticino marble.
Upon arrival into the city, guests will be transported to the hotel via a Bentley, Rolls-Royce, or one of the resort’s limousines and checked-in at the exclusive VIP lounge. Depending on the package, attendees will then be escorted to their suites normally reserved only for high-roller casino guests. During the Welcome Reception, Champagne and caviar will be served as diners will get a chance to mingle with each other for the first time.
Throughout the day on Saturday, four events will take place to further enhance the weekend’s experience through The Venetian’s luxury partners. One such affair is the Need for Speed race car event. Guests will be able to hit the Las Vegas Motor Speedway through Exotics Racing and will have a chance to sit with a pro driver in the passenger seat. Designed by a stunt driver who worked on the Bourne Identity, the 1.2-mile racetrack features seven turns and a 1,800-foot straightaway.
Continuing the weekend will be a Dine-Around in the Palazzo Waterfall Atrium & Gardens, a private after-party in a special Richard Hennessey Lounge in the exclusive high-roller Paiza Club, and a Sunday Truffle Farewell Brunch with Lagasse at his award-winning Delmonico Steakhouse restaurant.
Rates start at $3,209 per night for the Ultimo Suite Package (the first of four overnight offers), and proceeds benefit the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. To reserve a spot at the table and your hotel stay, call 866.255.8967.
