It all began in 1976 when the Post family, at the urging of their four teen daughters, opened their home, the spectacular Green Gables Inn on the shores of Monterey Bay, to guests on a limited basis. Taken by the warmth of innkeeping, the family refined hospitality to an art, carefully selecting inns for their collection. Today, with locations in the most desirable regions of California, and architecture ranging from Victorian, to French country, to Cape Cod Beach, each Four Sisters Inn combines inviting décor with exceptional service and amenities.

Healdsburg Inn on the Plaza: Built in 1901, this classic California inn is located right on historic Healdsburg Plaza. Summer concerts, antique fairs, and holiday tree lightings all take place right outside the door.
