The fourth annual Los Cabos International Film Festival is coming up quick and you won’t want to miss it. Centered around the tagline of “Come and See What The Neighbors Are Doing,” the five-day event may be pretty new to the scene, but it has already drawn some pretty big stars (like Reese Witherspoon and Rosario Dawson). With a slew of fantastic flicks, some we have seen and some we are dying to catch, we’re sure that this year will be even better.
Taking place November 11-15, the festival is in a great spot for attendees. With tons of luxury resorts, beaches, water activities and golf courses, the backdrop provides so much to do. Though you may not have much time in between screenings and parties. Speaking of, the Fundraising Culinary Dinner gala on Nov. 13 is only $2,000 MXN (around $121) a ticket and is sure to be a good time. The second invitation-only, Meet Your Neighbors forum will also be held this year, which brings together producers from all over the world to chat about the industry.
In terms of movies, there are certainly a lot on offer. The nine films in competition are the must-see Tangerine, From Afar, Room, Chronic, James White, Our Loved Ones, Nasty Baby, A Monster with a Thousand Heads and Sleeping Giant. In case you were wondering, we are especially excited to catch the scary Tale of Tales, The Witch and What We Become.
Individual day passes range from around $36 to $60, while the five-day Industry Badge is $150 and includes tickets for everything.
