In September, Cabo San Lucas took a hard beating from Hurricane Odile—and as their neighbors to the north—we watched closely as some of our favorite hotels were badly damaged as a result. Luckily, over a month later, those properties are starting to pick themselves back up and work their way back to the luxury resorts we know them as.
One of the coolest things to come from this tragedy was the amount of gracious volunteers and patrons who stepped up to help rebuild and support their much-loved hotels. In the wake of the disaster, its guests began questioning how they could help, and a fund was setup for its employees who also lost homes during the hurricane. As of today, the resort has raised $82,696 through its 178 donations. We love a happy ending!
