Loosen those belts and grab your passports, it’s time to get your fooding on. According to the Los Angeles Times, Capella Pedregal Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico will be kicking off their annual Food & Wine Festival July 10-14 with master chefs in appearance. During the fest, each chef will prepare signature dishes while using local ingredients to integrate Mexico’s flavors. Among the esteemed chefs in attendance will be Capella Pedregal executive chef Yvan Mucharraz, Dean Fearing of Fearing’s (Dallas), and Tim Hollingsworth, most recently chef de cuisine of California's French Laundry restaurant in Napa Valley.
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with a reception of artisanal Mexican cheeses, Mexican wines and specialty dishes. As the festival only allows for 120 guests, the event will provide an intimate setting with some of the best chefs in the industry. Featured happenings range from a tequila seminar, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations with the chefs and a five-course dinner and celebratory after-party. Starting at $3,820, rates include a four-night stay at the upscale Capella Pedregal Resort.
