The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort is partnering with Norwegian wedding-gown designer Cecilie Melli to create a personalized wedding program for hotel guests. Ms. Melli has designed a selection of original wedding gowns, which will be available for rent or purchase through the resort’s new Bridal Boutique program. A resident St. Regis’ “Romance Butler” is on hand to advise and assist in all wedding planning and preparations.

The resort’s new wedding program with Cecilie Melli will be a highlighted lot at the Carousel of Hope charity event, as The St. Regis Bora Bora Resorts will auction off a $250,000 wedding. “Our new wedding program brings the concept of one-stop-shopping to those brides planning a destination wedding, which in our case happens to be at of the most beautiful and romantic places in the world,” said Michael Schoonewagen, general manager.

“What could be more desirable, elegant and meaningful than to have all the details of your wedding planned for you, complete with an exquisite, original wedding gown created by one of today’s fabulous young stars of fashion—and you don’t even have to go through the trouble of bringing it with you! We are enormously delighted to work with Cecilie. I know our guests will be equally thrilled.”

Entertainer Jay Leno will host the event and actor George Clooney will be its guest of honor. Mercedes-Benz is the sponsor of the special auction that will take place in Beverly Hills on October 20. Included in the wedding package is a 10-night stay at the St. Regis Bora Bora's 13,000-square-foot Royal Estate Villa complete with private pool. For the ceremony and reception, the bride will wear a dress designed by Cecilie Melli.

The rehearsal dinner will take place at Lagoon by Jean-Georges and a photographer will be on hand throughout the day to capture every moment. All meals, airport transfers, roundtrip tickets from Los Angeles to Tahiti, water activities and five villas for five couples to stay for five nights to share in the experience are also included.
