Twenty-Nine Design recently unveiled their latest architectural work, on a small residential plot in the city Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Hijuana House is a two story luxury home developed using green design techniques. Built around mango trees, great care was taken during construction to leave the existing shrubbery on the site undisturbed. According the architects: "Our aim was to avoid cutting a single tree on site. As such, the house notches its way around the existing greenery, especially the two majestic 50 year old mango trees along the side boundary."
As you approach the front door and step through, the first thing you may notice is the ground floor composed entirely of glass which can be opened, allowing tropical elements to breath throughout the home. Lush foliage surrounds the 1st floor shielding the bedrooms from the sun's rays.
With this perfect blend of greenery, fresh tropical air and warm sunlight this house was built for summer vacationing. Find out more at Twenty-Nine Design
