As rewarding as owning a superyacht is, it can be tricky to find a marina large enough to accommodate large sizes. Travel basically revolves around where one can moor their vessel, which is why you often see so many massive yachts in areas like Spain and Italy. However, the largest port in the world is now Porto Montenegro, which recently announced the addition of a 250-meter berth (which is over 820 feet long).
Surpassing that of One Ocean Port Vell’s 190-meter offering in Spain and Grand Harbour Marina’s 135-meter space in Malta, Porto Montenegro’s new berth is actually bigger than the world’s largest superyacht, the 180-meter Azzam. With tons of concept plans out there for boats measuring at over 200 meters, the country is now fully prepared to meet future demand.
