We never thought we would be saying this, but we want to hang out on an oil tanker. As long as it's on the Imāra, that is. The concept project is based on a 280-meter-long SuezMax tanker platform and is from Australia-based design firm Motion Code: Blue. According to Yanko Design, the unexpected vessel will be much more eco-friendly than building a new yacht from the ground up. And judging by the photo, it's not like you would be sacrificing style either.
The hull gets a bright white paint job with a contrasting gleaming gold. The fore deck is raised so it can accommodate three helipads making it super easy for quick arrivals and getaways. Apparently, all together, the vessel is able to hold five choppers at any given time (two in the hanger and three on the upper deck). It can also fit tender up to 90 feet in the hull and even cooler are the two side hatches that raise, enabling you to actually drive right through the whole vessel.
