The Geneva Motor Show hasn’t even officially begun yet and Bugatti has already pulled ahead by introducing their new Chiron supercar. Not only does this auto have to be electronically limited to 261 mph, it can hit 125 mph in just 6.5 seconds (that means 0-60 in 2.5 seconds) and only 500 models will be made.
Starting at around $2.6 million, this rare beauty blows its predecessors out of the water with its 8-liter, quad-turbo W16 engine that offers 1,478 hp. At nearly 340 pounds heavier than the Veyron (making it around 4,400 lbs), the Chiron has a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission giving 1,180 pound-feet of torque that peaks at 2,000 rpm.
Though more details are sure to be revealed, 150 models have already been claimed.
