If you missed the Los Angeles Auto Show this past weekend, CCM News has you covered with the above video that highlights the world premieres of the Mercedes-Benz GLS and the SL. The former is a seven-seat SUV that was designed to replace the GL, coming in a variety of different configurations for various markets. The US model is the GLS550, which gets its power from a twin-turbocharged V8 engine that offers 449 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. Alternatively, the 2017 SL roadster has gotten a much larger grille and air inlets, updated headlamps, a new steering wheel and seats, and a bigger infotainment screen. “We’ve improved everything in the car. It starts with the throttle response, shift times…so the overall package is really amazing now,” says Tobias Moers, Chairman of the Management Board Mercedes-AMG GmbH.
