A couple weeks ago Audi released their partnership with Universal Pictures for Fifty Shades of Grey, which let's be honest, wasn't exactly shocking news. Considering Audi is all over the book series—so much so that we already wrote a feature about which models Christian Grey drives specifically—it was a no brainer that the brand would be in the adaptation. Surprisingly enough, Audi didn't have anything to do with the author's choice to include them in the trilogy— E.L. James didn't even own one herself—and weren't even aware of it until the novel became a huge hit. Suffice it to say, Audi better be polishing up a brand new R8 V10 Spyder to gift to the author as a big thank you.
