Luxury electronic company Bang & Olufsen always stays a step ahead of the pack, releasing sleek and powerful speakers you can feel proud of owning. Their newest music offering (released under their sub-brand Play) is the BeoPlay A9 speaker. The slim design looks like a satellite dish and is apparently supposed to give a deep bass that isn't often experienced.
According to Super Yachts, the BeoPlay A9 has a 2.1-channel bass reflex loudspeaker system that includes five separate speakers and amplifiers. The volume control is touch-sensitive that can be muted simply by resting your hand on the speaker. Hopefully there's some sort of limitations around that because it could be irritating to have the music mute every time you shift the speaker's position. You can also control the settings via a smartphone or tablet, including track selection. Since it costs $2,699, it's not a speaker you want to buy lightly but it definitely seems like a great addition to a large open space.
