Technology is definitely at its most beautiful when it is able to communicate with us in the form of dance, especially when choreographed by Cirque du Soleil. Similar to the wearable sphere we showed you yesterday, SPARKED: A Live Interaction Between Humans and Quadcopters shows how amazing it can be when machines are programmed to move with us, without the use of CGI. Created by Cirque du Soleil (in partnership with ETH Zurich and Verity Studios), the clip shows 10 lamp-like quadcopters performing a flying dance in sync with the dashing man who created them. "Precise computer control allows for a large performance and movement vocabulary of the quadcopters and opens the door to many more applications in the future," says the company. Personally, we can't wait to see how they plan on bringing this technology to their world-renowned shows.
