Air France La Première customers may be noticing that their flights have gotten a little more Parisian lately and that's because the airline brought on star chef Guy Martin to design new signature dishes. Running through May, the new menu includes a starter and five dishes.
Currently customers can choose between "rack of lamb with sage jus, peas and tomato Provençal or a marinated duck fillet with vegetable jus, a brunoise of green tomatoes and a mini ratatouille." Next month gets "turbot with ras el hanout and sweet potato pie, or chicken with shrimps in sauce," among several other options. The new signature dishes by Guy Martin can be found on flights serving Paris-Charles de Gaulle and on all long-haul journeys.
Since 2011, every two months a famous chef redesigns the La Première menu as part of the Air France's ongoing project with Serviar Culinary Studio. Aside from Guy Martin, past chefs include Anne-Sophie Pic, Régis Marcon, Joël Robuchon, and Michel Roth.
