Moschino's Newest Fragrance is Not a Toy—It's a Teddy Bear

You didn’t think Jeremy Scott was going to do anything serious for his first Moschino fragrance, did you? His direct pop culture references, his wild runway shows and quirky, if not somewhat controversial, collections have put the Italian house back on the map as one of the must-have brands for the past few seasons. So it only makes sense that he took a lighthearted and fun approach to the new perfume—appropriately named Moschino Toy—and made the bottles entirely out of teddy bears. Yep, unscrew the head (we’ll dismiss how morbid this might seem to those around you) and underneath you’ll find a pump to spritz on your newest it-girl fragrance. The bear is even sporting his own Moschino shirt saying “This is not a Moschino toy,” and comes in brightly colored packaging with phrases like “Touch Me” and “Try Me” written along the side.

Moschino Toy

For the fragrance campaign model Isabeli Fontana is surrounded by Moschino Toy teddy bears falling off her shoulder like a fur stole, while holding a headless bear as she sprays the fragrance into the air. The Brazilian model holds the head strategically over her midsection and gives a smoldering look into the camera. And despite being surrounded by a bunch of kid’s toys she actually looks quite chic. Lensed by Steven Meisel the campaign is hitting just in time for the holidays and we’re pretty sure the fashion lover in your life is going to want a new teddy bear for Christmas.

Moschino Toy is available online at Moschino and is priced at $110.
