If you are looking for a new signature scent for the man in your life, this may be the one. Gucci is set to release their new men’s fragrance Made to Measure by September of this year with superstar James Franco as the spokesman. Their new fragrance is an embodiment of their signature Made to Measure tailoring, and will represent the same attention to detail, luxury, and sophistication that men have come to expect from the Gucci name. Intended as the companion scent to Gucci’s women’s fragrance, Gucci Premiere, Made to Measure is a spicy counterpart with notes consisting of bergamot, patchouli, nutmeg, cinnamon, and orange flower among others. “[The fragrances] both reflect a refined individual taste and echo the aesthetic of the world of cinema — glamour, sophistication and excellence," Gucci creative director Frida Giannini reported to WWD.
Having worked with Gucci before, advertising Gucci by Gucci and their Made to Measure services, Franco is once again going to make an appearance as the designer’s manifestation of the new men’s fragrance. If the new Made to Measure campaign is anything like Franco’s previous Gucci campaigns, (think smoky black and white images of him in a suit or climbing out of a pool) you can bet we’ll be in line when the new fragrance hits stores.
The new fragrance will launch nationwide in September retailing from $28-$88, ranging from men’s toiletries to cologne.
