Fashion doesn’t always make sense, that’s half the fun, but sometimes Prada can really hit it out of the park when it comes to trippy, WTF moments. Their latest videos, an extension of the Spring 2015 campaign, features Gemma Ward, Julia Nobis and Ine Neefs in a series of slightly out-of-touch and just plain creepy clips. Shot by Steven Meisel and directed by DJA, the clips run between black and white and full color, with eerie music playing in the background and models that don’t seem quite right.
In the first clip, entitled Intimate, Ward rolls around on a bed sifting through photographs and getting up to repeatedly turn the faucet on and off. She puts her socks on, puts her shoes on, then fidgets around on the bed before taking them all off again. Strange. Nobis’ clip, Psychedelic, captures the model dancing around with accessories in what can only be described as a drug-fueled romp through Barneys. Stoic, Neefs clip, is seriously #creepypasta. Done entirely in black and white, stark lamplight swings over Prada accessories like a film noir, while she walks around the room looking quite—off. Well-dressed or not, if we saw her starting toward us in a dark alley, no amount of Prada would keep us there long enough to find out what she was up to.
