Okay, there’s no getting around this. Burberry basically hit it out of the park by choosing Romeo Beckham for their new holiday campaign. The second son of David and Victoria Beckham (yeah, this kid has some amazing genes) plays a breakdancing little cupid in the campaign’s film From London With Love. Bringing a couple together with song, dance and a little Burberry magic, the short celebrates a season of love and celebration as over 50 dancers perform through the mock streets of London. “It continues to be an utter joy working with Romeo—he has charm, style and…great energy! I’m delighted that he’s the lead role in our festive campaign,” Christopher Bailey, CEO and CCO of Burberry, said of the preteen heartthrob.

The film, directed by Bailey, while filled with adorable and romantic moments, finds a way to focus on the brand while maintaining the beauty and enchantment of the season. Golden Burberry boxes are carried across screen, while women twirl in ballgowns with check-printed scarves draped around their neck. Men and women give a choreographed performance with dark Burberry umbrellas, channeling the glory of old-Hollywood’s cinematic musicals. “This festive campaign is a celebration of everything we love at Burberry; the trench coat, the cashmere scarf, incredible music, our British weather and working with great and talented people,” Bailey added.
The campaign will run starting today and for the next three months will be shown on outdoor advertising platforms, movie theaters, print and along the brands social media platforms. The full holiday collection will also be available starting today and will include personalized pieces including small accessories, beauty and eveningwear.
