If you haven’t seen “It” girl Alexa Chung rocking her iconic style basically everywhere, you’re officially living under a rock. From her messy waves to her casual street style the girl absolutely oozes fashion, so it’s not too surprising she landed a gig as the face of Longchamp. And after launching her own makeup line with beauty brand Eyeko and the release of her first book (which is on our holiday wish lists) she’s wrapping up the year with her new Longchamp campaign.
Joining the ranks of models like Kate Moss and Coco Rocha, who have also posed for the French label, Chung was immediately a brand favorite. "For the new Escales collection—which is cheerful, colorful and bursting with energy—we needed a woman who was both chic and modern," said Longchamp’s international communications director, Marie-Sabine Leclercq. "Alexa Chung is the woman who embodies it the best. Her enchanting gaze, which is very strong and very present, gives the campaign a lot of personality. She has energy and confidence."
Photographed in Saint Tropez by Max Vadanul and styled by Alexis Roche, the model, T.V. personality and author, was also filmed by Jean-François Julien for a short that will debut during New York Fashion Week next year.
