Our girl Cara Delevingne just landed her first solo Vogue cover! (Insert praise hands emoji!) The model-turned-actress will be gracing the cover of July’s issue next month and we’re totally going to snag a few copies when it hits newsstands June 23. Shot by Patrick Demarchelier and styled by Tonne Goodman, she poses bare faced and approachable (and insanely gorgeous)—the same way she coveys herself through social media to her over 13 million Instagram followers.

In her cover story Delevingne discusses everything from her upcoming movie roles (she plays the leading lady in next month’s Paper Towns and secured a spot in DC’s upcoming Suicide Squad) to her problems with suicidal depression in her early days of modeling. In fact to hear her talk about the industry now almost seems like she’s ready to abandon it altogether. “I’m not sure I understand what fashion is anymore,” she tells Vogue. “I admit I was terrified to leave. I mean, the bubble gives you a kind of dysfunctional family. When you’re in it, you get it. And the second you’re out of it, you’re like, ‘What the hell just happened?’”

The feature also interviews friends, contemporaries and big names in the industry including Sienna Miller, Stella McCartney, Pharrell and Karlie Kloss. “I remember feeling so jealous when she and Jourdan [Dunn] first met,” Kloss tells Vogue. “Cara can create that kind of jealousy because she can make anyone fall in love with her. But it’s misunderstanding her to think she’s just the life of the party. Yes, she’s the life of the party. But she’s extremely serious about her work. And here’s the thing: She is truly herself while being in the public eye—not easy to do.”
