Almost every woman with a love of fashion has a girl crush on Anna Wintour—she’s brilliant, strong and can sway the landscape of fashion with the wave of her hand, even if she is just a little bit scary while she does it. Or at least that’s what we thought. In Vogue’s newest episode of 73 Questions, an online episodic that bombards celebrities with a rapid-fire, Q & A free-for-all, they interview their own Editor-in Chief and what takes place is an obviously scripted, but lovably awkward exchange with one of fashion’s greats. There’s even a cameo appearance byVogue cover model Karlie Kloss and conference phone call from Oscar de la Renta—this is Anna we’re talking about after all.
From her opinion on selfies to the questions we really care about—like why she’s always wearing her iconic shades—we actually get to see a softer side of her. She starts off stoic, gives a few chuckles and tosses in a little sarcasm, something she appreciates about British humor. Find out about her least favorite fashion word (hint: it’s not “effortless”) and the one thing she would never, ever wear. Plus we get a tour inside Vogue and her gorgeous corner office while she talks about her fear of spiders, love of tennis and how watching Homeland is her guilty pleasure.
