While most of us spent our three day weekend lying on the beach or enjoying a backyard barbeque with family and friends, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were tying the knot in an over-the-top European wedding, and exchanged vows on Saturday at the star-studded affair. The extravaganza took place over the weekend in both France and Italy; the rehearsal dinner was held at the Palace of Versailles where guests listened to a live performance by Lana Del Ray and were entertained by magician David Blaine. Reportedly guests had the option of wandering the corridors of the French palace or taking a horse-drawn carriage around the grounds.
The next day family and friends were flown to Florence, Italy to attend the wedding ceremony at the 16th century Forte di Belvedere. With guests in attendance that included John Legend, Rachel Roy, Christy Teigen and Jaden Smith, it was an A-list ceremony with a performance by Andrea Bocelli as Bruce Jenner walked Kardashian down the aisle. Wearing a custom, lace Givenchy gown, the bride looked opulent with a long train, long sleeves and a veil that cascaded even farther than the dress. The groom also rocked a Givenchy design, a black and white tuxedo designed by friend Riccardo Tisci. Invited designers included Tisci, as well as Alber Elbaz, Olivier Rousteing and Alexander Wang.
