It’s always a bit of a blow when we lose someone in the industry—especially at such a young age. Found this afternoon in her house in Kent, England, Peaches Geldof passed away today at the age of 25. British socialite, model, writer and television personality, Geldof is survived by her husband, musician Thomas Cohen, and two sons Astala, one, and Phaedra, 11 months. Beginning her career by writing a column for the U.K.’s Elle Girl magazine when she was just 15, Geldof quickly became a lover of media and fashion, writing for both The Daily Telegraph and The Guardian before becoming a model in her teens.
Premiering at London Fashion Week in 2007, she shortly thereafter was named the face of Dotti Australia and also began campaigning with Ultimo. Named number seven in British publication Tatler’s Top Ten Fashion Icons of the Year, she was the youngest person to make the list and has been a fashion regular ever since. A common guest at fashion week, Geldof was seen front row even throughout her two pregnancies. A British icon, Geldof had a unique sense of style ranging from rock-inspired duds to old Hollywood glamour. Here we cover a few of our favorite looks.
