People always say there’s something about redheads. Well, it looks like Jessica Chastain is proving them all right. The Oscar nominated actress has been burning up the screen as of late so it’s no surprise she’s an editorial favorite. After her Yves Saint Laurent Manifesto fragrance campaign and appearing as a regular front row Fashion Week attendee, she’s more than proven she’s got style in her veins. And now she can add Vogue cover girl to her résumé .
This December Chastain landed her first Vogue cover and it’s probably one of the most beautiful and impactful of the year. Fans seem to clash over whether or not their beloved redhead can pull off yellow, but the brilliant Theory by Olivier Theyskens gown looks nothing less than stunning on her. Shot by Annie Leibovitz, the image is meant to pay homage to Frederic Leighton’s Flaming June painting, and the Huffington Post reports that inside the upcoming December issue we’ll find Chastain recreating other popular masterpieces. Unfortunately for us, we’ll have to wait until the issue is released to see it.
